  since this phone is a dual sim phone do you nedd 2 sims to work it? or can you just use 1?

  hi i bought this same phone off ebay and ai have a telstra sim . my sim just doesnt seem to work it wont let me txt at all and it keeps saying insert sim 1 . . . . can you help , my area is gsm so that isnt the problem
